Founder and Partner
Mr. Mangione, the Partner-in-Charge of L+M Electrical, has overseen a wide variety of projects including building system renovations for high-rise residential and commercial buildings. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Mangione worked for Meyer, Strong & Jones, a major consulting engineering firm in New York City, and Crawford & Russell, a major engineering firm in Connecticut specializing in chemical plant design. He joined the firm in 1986 and became a Partner in 1991

Representative projects directed by Mr. Mangione include the following:
For both Seward Park Houses and Penn South Houses, New York, New York, Mr. Mangione designed the fmechanical, electrical and plumbing systems for new 90,000 sq. ft. garages, one with a landscaped park above.
For various New York City Housing Authority sites, he designed upgraded electrical systems, boiler plant replacements, oil tank replacements, gas riser replacements, and building fire alarm systems.
For the United States Post Office in Westchester County he designed mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems for the renovation of various post office facilities.
He has also designed mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems as part of the renovation of various New York City school facilities for the New York City School Construction Authority.
Education, Registrations and Organizations
The holder of a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Columbia University, Mr. Mangione is a licensed engineer in the states of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. He serves on the Executive Committee of Columbia University’s Engineering Alumni Association and is a member of the International Association of Electrical Inspectors, the Institute of Electrical & Electronic Engineers, and the New York State Society of Professional Engineers.
