With its expanding curriculum, this four-story elementary public school required additional science facilities. L&M was retained to investigate existing spaces and design a new science room.
In consultation with the school, we identified a room which could be significantly upgraded. The work included:
- Removal and replacement of all room finishes
- Design of a new layout of furniture, prep tables, work stations and storage
- Upgrade of plumbing and electrical systems to accommodate new sinks as well as lighting and projection systems
